Powerhouse Ballet makes it's Debut and the KNT Danceworks 10th Anniversary show
Saturday saw Louise J and I head to the Dancehouse Theatre in Manchester for an evening of dance. This was primarily a celebration of 10 years of KNT Danceworks but as mentioned in my post on the 25th April this show also featured some special guests - the performing debut of Powerhouse Ballet.
The show was primarily showcasing KNTs adult dancers, as apart from Powerhouse's piece there was two other pieces that weren't KNT's Adult student, the first was was one of KNT's children's classes (the grade 2 ballet class) with their Pirates of the Carribean themed piece and the second was four of KNT's teachers dancing a pas de quatre -including Principal Karen Sant and Mark Hindle, both of whom are friends of Powerhouse and have taught company classes for Powerhouse.
In addition to the Powerhouse piece a number of the people involved with Powerhouse ballet were performing as one of more ( or 5 or 6 ... mentioning no names <coff> Rachael and Katie <coff>) of their regular classes each week are with KNT.
