Dangerous Agenda
I have been accused of having a dangerous agenda, but by that measure so does Chase Johnsey and Tamara Rojo.
This Dangerous Agenda?
That traditional gender roles in Ballet, while they may be part of the choreography of existing works, should not confine the training and teaching of dancers and that if female presenting dancers want to do 'male' work and if male presenting dancers want to do 'female' work including pointe, then it should not only be tolerated, it should be encouraged.
This is aside and separate from the issue from respecting those of us who are both Dancers and Transgender.
