The plural of anecdote
As someone with a background and education as a health professional, one thing I find extremely frustrating in trans discourse, is the dogged refusal to acknowledge that we do not live in a fantasy land utopia.
I've called this piece the plural of anecdote because quite simply much of what is presented as evidence by those in the trans community who do not have either a proper research education from post graduate studies or preregistration Health professional education is not evidence as it would be understood in academic or clinical circles.
The exclusionary voices are no better and arguably worse as not only do they rely on anecdote , they also ignore the conclusions of the Authors of peer reviewed works and cherry pick statistics.
