What do I call you ?

I was listening to a podcast made by some other trans women and the topic of the first time someone who has met you  pre transition meets you post transition, especially if it is unexpected.

this reminded me of a situation that arose a couple of months before I went 'full time' and just to add to the fun of the situation it was a ballet class...  i've mentioned it in passing before here but it  will be  one of those 'picture moments'  for the rest of my life...  

DPK's  jaw  literally dropped like in a cartoon ...  and the second thing out of  his mouth once he'd cranked his jaw back up was "What do I call you ?" the first thing ?  something along the lines of " wow, you look fab-u-lous" ...
